A woman whose child is being kept and looked after by the nuns at the Ursuline Crèche was accused yesterday of threatening a number of nuns on Tuesday afternoon.
Moira Borg, 32, from St Paul’s Bay, appeared before magistrate Antonio Mizzi accused of threatening the nuns at 1.15pm. She was also accused of threatening a number of police officers and disobeying police orders and breaching the peace.
Ms Borg pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against her. She was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500.
Police inspector Mario Bonello prosecuted, while Dr Franco Debono appeared for the defend-ant.
