• Former Maltasong chairperson Grace Borg walked out of the recording of Bondiplus when, instead of discussing her well-known allegations about her successor’s behaviour at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, she was asked about unrelated court matters which are still pending. She felt an attempt was being made to portray her as a violent person and left.

• Leading hotelier and former Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association president Winston Zahra said both Tourism Minister Francis Zammit Dimech, and the person he appointed as head of the Malta Tourism Authority, Romwald Lungaro-Mifsud, should resign over the dismal tourism figures.
