Valletta Waterfront is to host a display of Alfa Romeo vehicles, ranging from classics to the latest models. The event, which takes place on Sunday, is being organised by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club Malta and is part of a series of car displays being organised at the Waterfront, featuring the world’s premier auto brands. As on previous occasions, all those who visit the Waterfront for this event will also be able to follow a Formula One Grand Prix race live on the big screen. In this case, the race will be taking place in the USA.
The Alfa Romeo Owners Club Malta was established in February 2003 and launched in June of the same year, to coincide with the official launch of the Alfa 147 Diesel in Malta. The emergence of Alfa’s desirable cars had rekindled enthusiasm for the brand and since then, the Club has been organising monthly events. These have included drives, driving tests, car treasure hunts, exhibitions, film shows and concours d’elegance among others. The club has also visited the Alfisti’s mecca, the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo at Arese near Milan.
The Alfa Romeo Malta Club is supported by UCIM, local agents for Alfa Romeo cars.
