A Zejtun man was injured yesterday at the Imnarja festival in Buskett when a bull he was loading onto a truck to take back to his farm bucked and sent him sprawling.

The 28-year-old was putting the Maltese Gendus back into its pen when it bucked and kicked him and another man to the ground. The bull ran around in confusion among the crowd that was gathered nearby but was caught and restrained within a few minutes. No one else was injured. The Zejtun man was rushed by ambulance to St Luke’s hospital where it was confirmed that he had been injured, but not seriously. Police are investigating.
