Msida SJ skipper Charles (Hassu) Sciberras has agreed to extend his contract with the club by another one year after his previous contract expired last season.

Sciberras will also be involved in the technical sector of the club under the guidance of new coach Patrick Curmi, as this will help the player to gain new experience in coaching before ending his playing career.

The technical staff, together with the management board and the committee of Msida SJ, will be addressing a players' meeting next Monday at 7.30pm and the day after the players will start the pre-season training for the 2006/07 season.

Presently there is great enthusiasm and a good atmosphere at the club while this upcoming season is the most memorable one on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the club.
