Hamrun Spartans goalkeeper, Michael Falzon, was presented with the trophy for the BOV player of the Month for May 2006 at the Ursuline Creche in G’Mangia where he presented the donation related to this award to the sisters of the Ursuline Creche. Michael Galea, Head PR, Communications and Corporate Branding at Bank of Valletta presented the BOV Trophy to Falzon.

The goalie was a protagonist between the Hamrun posts during the relegation pool with a series of spectacular saves.

Presenting the trophy, Michael Galea congratulated Michael Falzon for his achievement and highlighted the social aspect related to the BOV Player of the Month award. “We are pleased to note that the Ursuline Creche was a regular beneficiary of donations by players who have won the BOV Player of the Month awards this season,” said Mr Galea.

The presentation to Michael Falzon was the last one for this season and BOV is looking forward to continue with this initiative during next year’s BOV Premier League.
