The first direct matches between the clubs at the top are scheduled for this weekend as the programme is spread between today and tomorrow.

Today, at 6pm, Ta’ Xbiex Mermaids face San Giljan Zara, while at 7.15pm, Neptunes Vodafone will be meeting Marsascala Breakers.

Tomorrow, in the opening match at 6pm, Marsaxlokk Freeport take on Exiles while in the match that follows, at 7.15pm, Sliema Burger King are scheduled to play against 2X Sirens.

After the opening four rounds, Sliema, Sirens and Neptunes lead the standings with eight points each. They are followed by Marsascala with four, San Giljan and Exiles on two and Ta’ Xbiex and Marsaxlokk with zero points.
