Eurovision star Mihai Traistariu who placed fourth in this year's Eurovision Song Contest with his upbeat song Tornero will be in Malta next month, on 14 July. He will perform a number of songs, including the hit Tornero, during a show organized by Timeline Promotions, the same organisers of The Madonna Tribute Show.

During the last Eurovision Song Contest, held in Athens, Greece, Malta awarded its 10 points to Mihai Traistariu and his song Tornero.

Prior to his success in 2006, in the Romanian selection for Eurovision Song Contest, Mihai tried five consecutive times to win this contest, and he was placed second, third, fourth, third and, again, third. Now, in 2006, he finally placed first.

Mihai Traistariu’s voice can reach five octaves and one third, which is rare for a male voice.
