‘Frejgatina’ – Only fresh ingredients will do

Yes, it’s that sensational time of the year again, sizzling, sensuous summer – a time al fresco restaurants shed their winter skins and come into their own all over the island. And among those eagerly awaited is the terrific Corinthia San Gorg’s Frejgatina Restaurant, situated at the water’s edge atop one of the most

picturesque bays in Malta. Each year the chefs constantly strive to outdo themselves and happily succeed in creating the freshest of delicious fish and seafood dishes to tantalise the taste buds.

This year is no exception and in this day and age of makeovers, the menu has undergone the “mother” of all makeovers. Heart-melting new dishes that make you want to eat there every day mix with old favourites, to make Frejgatina one of the best fish places around.

“Fresh fish or we don’t cook it”, exclaims sir Chef, as the daily catch rolls in to be cooked in front of your very eyes in the display kitchen, while you sip a cool cocktail under the starry sky in anticipation of your fishy feast.

Place a regular booking, enjoy the hearty fare, but please don’t take the chef home – he has a family of followers to feed.
