Malta Independent Tuesday, 11 July 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 20 years ago

“Go mobile will place the customer at the centre of all our services and become the leader in reaction time and the quality of services we offer,” Maltacom group CEO David Kay said yesterday at the go mobile stand at the Trade Fair in Naxxar.

Mr Kay said that go mobile was enhancing its streaming service and will be offering its subscribers an even broader selection.

Go mobile is the first mobile phone company to launch TV on your mobile and it has increased the number of channels on offer.

“I am committed to sustaining Maltacom Group’s overall objective of providing high-quality and affordable communications,” said Mr Kay.

Go mobile subscribers are now able to access a number of TV stations including MTV, Super 1 TV, Net TV, BBC World and fashiontv. In addition subscribers can stream their favourite clips available on the go live! WAP portal.

“Apart from introducing TV on your mobile, customers who visit the go mobile trade fair stand will have an opportunity to try out demos of mygo Box – another service recently launched,” said go mobile’s marketing manager Albert Gouder.

Mygo Box is an online messaging centre and is an enhanced version of the mygo web portal which is available for 50c every 30 days.

It is a one-stop shop access since it allows for flexible online access to sms, mms, email and phonebook via one convenient portal.

Subscribers can also synchronise the phonebook on the mobile phone with their online mygo Box account and can make use of a personalised email account with free SMS alerts upon receipt of new messages.

A number of sms games and comedy shows by the popular Zoo team will be organised the go mobile stand at the trade fair. Participants will have the opportunity to win free talk time and one of the mobile phones on offer.
