Football tournaments, basketball, and bowling competitions were just some of the events organised by Diaspora, one of the teams taking part in this year’s Young Enterprise HSBC company programme.
In addition to launching this service-based business aimed at encouraging a more active lifestyle, the team from Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School, was also the only team in this year’s competition to produce a product; an innovative “Paper Keeper”.
These are wooden bases formed into different shapes with wires joined to the base of it and crocodile clips at the ends which help to organise one’s desk. Every customer is able to customize his or her paper keeper.
As the nine month competition draws to a close, Diaspora are now preparing for their interviews with judges as well as the Young Enterprise National Finals which will take place on 18 July.
