For yet another year, Sparkasse Bank have agreed to sponsor this very popular competition at the Royal Malta Golf Club, not withstanding the fact that the previous Director, Dr. Nadja Wechselberger, the originator of the competition is no longer based in Malta and the bank is now under the able hands of Mr. David Cauchi, the local Director.

The game, which takes the format of an individual Stableford Competition, is open to both Lady and Gentlemen golfers, who will play one round of 18 holes.

The competition takes place today, and it is very keenly contested, one possible reason being the attractive prize of an all inclusive holiday in Tunisia. The number of participants has already exceeded 40 players.

At the end of the competition, the presentation of prizes will be performed by senior representatives of Sparkasse Bank Malta and this will be followed by a sumptuous Bar-B-Que which will be held at the Putter’s Inn.
