San Gwann Bocci Club won their first ever Pool team title and ended the season with success by winning the Super Cup.

They beat the challenge of 39 otherteams who participated in this year team leagues with not less than 473 players playing all around Malta.

The team knock-out was won by Top Gun Bar while Mario Cutajar of San Gwann Bocci Club was crowned Maltese national champion. Miguel Falzon of Top Gun Bar topped the Under 18 national ranking list.

At the end of season ceremony the Malta Pool Association presented all season winners with trophies and certificates. During his speech general secretary Vincent Degiorgio said that this was a fantastic season in which the association confirmed its ability to conduct high level competitions and also participate with positive results in international competitions.

Besides the local competitions Malta participated in the World Eight Ball Pool Championships held in Blackpool and registered an impressive result by reaching the finals of the most important professional team event in the world pool calendar.
