Local champions Birkirkara face an almost impossible task today in the Faroe Islands when they play against B36 Torshavn.

Birkirkara were soundly beaten 0-3 in the first leg in Ta’ Qali seven days ago, with the opponents showing better skills and above all showing superior physical fitness.

The other Maltese clubs in Europe Hibernians and Sliema Wanderers will be in action next week, after suffering heavy defeats against Rumanian opposition in the first leg
