At the III Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Federation’s Congress held in Melbourne, Australia, Julian Pace Bonello, President of the Malta Tenpin Bowling Association, was re-elected as President of the Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Federation for a further term.
The Congress was attended by all sixteen Commonwealth nations that were present in Melbourne for the III Commonwealth Tenpin Bowling Championships.
The sixteen members of this organisation are Australia, Bahamas, Brunei, Canada, Cyprus, England, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, India, Malaysia, Malta, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Julian Pace Bonello has held this Post since the Congress Tenpin Bowling Federation (CTBF) was created in 2002.
He was previously the Chairperson for the Commonwealth Affairs Committee of the World Tenpin Bowling Association.
The main aim of the Congress Tenpin Bowling federation is to get Tenpin Bowling re-introduced as a Sport within the Official Programme of the Commonwealth Games. In 2004, it was included in the Official Programme of the II Commonwealth Youth Games held in Bendigo, Australia.
