In the Girls final 16 year old Alessia Bianchi proved to be too strong for 15 year old Elaine Genovese who was unable to offer much resistance to the accurate and powerful, all court display of her opponent.

Bianchi who hails from Firenze managed to surprise both top seeds to take the European Junior Tour 16/U title. The result speaks for itself as Alessia, taking full advantage of Elaine’s unforced errors wrapped up the match winning 6-3; 6-4.

Earlier in the afternoon in the Boys Singles Antonio Maiorano from Napoli confirmed his seeding beating surprise finalist Omar Giacalone No 6 seed in straight sets 6-1 6-3. The presentation of the handsome trophies was carried out on the court immediately after the respective finals.
