A Sliema man was yesterday accused of stealing more than Lm1,000 in cash from the Sprachecaffe language school in Pembroke.
Roger Testa, 46, pleaded not guilty to stealing the cash on 23 July at 3am. He was also accused of fabricating evidence and giving false statement and relapsing in view of previous convictions.
The court, presided over by magistrate Antonio Mizzi, set bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500. Police inspectors Carlo Ellul and Silvio Valletta prosecuted.
