A man and his son were conditionally discharged for three months yesterday after they were found guilty of threatening a woman and her boyfriend outside Zabbar police station in March 2004.
Godwin Pulis, 59, and his 31-year-old son Norbert, were conditionally discharged after they were found guilty of banging on Suzanne Plumpton’s car and disobeying police orders.
The court heard that the incident took place when Ms Plumpton and the father and son had a heated argument outside Zabbar police station and the two men began banging on the woman’s car and windscreen until the police came out and ordered them inside the police station.
Magistrate Abigail Lofaro conditionally discharged the men for three months and ordered them not to approach Ms Plumpton for a year, against a fine of Lm100 in default.
Police inspector Anthony Cassar prosecuted.
