A Maltese team representing MCAST and YEU (Youth for Exchange and Understanding) took part in the world street football championships organised by the ‘Branderburgische Sportjugend’.

The Malta team was led by Ms Adele Muscat and sponsored by RSM Malta, one of the leading local accountancy firms.

Seventy two teams from 16 different countries participated in these tournaments.

The Maltese team performed well in the main tournament but unfortunately were eliminated on goal difference in the quarter-finals. They also took part in further two satellite tournaments where they placed second and first.
