Former Valletta midfielder Milen Penchev is on a trial with Floriana.

The Bulgarian, who had been ruled out of action early last season through injury, is seeking a berth at one of Malta’s Premier clubs and could force either defender Gango Rtsa or striker Anthony Eviparker out of the Greens squad if the manages to convince the Greens new coach Joe Grech.

The other Greens foreigner for this season will be former Marsaxlokk striker Wendell Gomes, of Portugal.
