Seventy-five children from the Sisters of Charity Home and 25 children from the YMCA had a great time when they were treated to bowling at the Eden Super Bowl in St Julian’s, courtesy of the HSBC Cares For Children Fund.

The children bowled for two-and-a-half hours in a fun atmosphere, stopping for refreshments.

“These activities help the bank meet the recreational objectives of the HSBC Cares For Children Fund. It is so heartening to see the children enjoy themselves in such a fun and safe environment, away from the home and school environment,” said fund chairperson Catherine Gonzi.

Twenty-five children from the Angel Tree Club, which helps to look after the children of people being held at the Corradino Correctional Facility, are next in line to be taken bowling.
