Telepage have been awarded the first European Social Fund (ESF) by the Malta College for Arts and Science Technology (MCAST).
The course will be delivered at the Dial-it Call Centre training facility according to MCAST specifications and within the MCAST quality assurance framework. It will be based on internationally recognised standards specifically designed for the contact centre sector.
The programme is designed to lead to certification in Call Centre Skills in line with international benchmarks and standards.
The course covers both the theoretical and practical aspects of the skills required to work as an advisor in a contact centre environment, with particular emphasis on communication and soft skills.
On a practical level, it also exposes participants to a number of live calls and real-life scenarios within a dynamic and lively environment.
During the 10-week course, trainees will be provided with all the latest tools of the trade, as well as exposed to an environment enabling them to acquire the necessary skills required in this rapidly expanding industry.
ESF courses are aimed at people aged 26 and older who wish to return to the workforce, or who are interested in further developing and upgrading skills appropriate for specific sectors of the labour market.
These courses are offered free of charge to participants as they are partly financed by the ESF and the Maltese government.
This particular programme is administered under the ESF 14 – Employability Skills for Women Returning to the Workforce.
