At the end of highly successful season in the local junior Hockey Association competitions, a group of Sliema Hs H.C. juniors embarked on a well deserved and equally successful hockey tour in the UK. Led by coaches Manuel Imbroll and Pierre George, the group was composed of a mixed team of boys and girls from the Sliema Hs nursery. The team played three friendlies and then participated in a Mixed International Tournament which they won with four victories and two draws.

In the friendlies Sliema Hs beat Penguins 3-0 and Chichester 4-2 and lost against the same Chichester 4-5. In the Tournament they beat Penguins twice with an identical score of 1-0 with the goals coming from Shaun Grima and Lukas Plaehn. They registered two similar score lines against Hailsham, with the goals coming from Leanne Gauci and Lukas Plaehn; whilst against the third team in the tournament, Horsham, Sliema Hs notched up two scoreless draws.
