Sliema must beat current leaders Neptunes tomorrow in one of the remaining crunch matches this season, if they wish to keep their hopes of winning the title alive.

The two eternal rivals meet in an important second round clash which will also be followed closely by Sirens, who are also very much in contention.

At present, Neptunes lead the standings with 16 points, followed by Sirens and Sliema on 14 points each.

A victory for Sliema tomorrow, coupled with an expected victory for Sirens over San Giljan Zara this evening, could see the top three teams on equal points.
