St George’s FC, newly promoted to this season’s Premier League, have announced the arrival of three players to strengthen their squad.Brazilian striker Edoardo do Nascimento, better known as Bisu, has agreed terms to join the club as one of the Saints foreigners the coming season.
Last season he was inactive, but he has already shown that he has not missed his scoring touch as he scored in two of the last friendlies played by the club.
The other two players are Lee Grima and Bernard Paris.
Grima is a Valletta FC product, but was on Sliema’s books the past season. He also played for Xghajra and Marsa, apart from the national Under 21 side.
Paris, 21, is a product of the Birkirkara nursery and for some time, also played for Balzan youths. Last season he was Birkirkara’s No. 2 behind David Simon of the Czech Republic.
St George’s are now expected to name their two other foreigners in the next few days as they continue to strengthen their side to become more competitive.
