Msida Reach agreement with Hibs over Baldacchino and Pullicino transfers

Msida St. have reached an agreement with Hibernians for the transfer of Peter Pullicino and Roderick Baldacchino.

Peter Pullicino - a Maltese national squad player is currently in the Czech Republic on a training camp with the national team and will be joining his new team mates and coach Patrick Curmi later this week. On the other hand Roderick Baldacchino started training yesterday.

With these two signings Msida have added some experience to the squad and have reached all target signings established by the management board and the technical staff.

The Saints will start their league campaign against newly promoted Marsa on Sunday, 20 August at 5pm.

In the meantime last week Msida SJ played another two friendlies against B'kara (1-0) and against Mosta (2-0). This week Msida SJ will play another two friendly matches against Valletta tomorrow at Hibs Ground, (kick-off 7.30pm) and on Saturday 12 August against Hamrun Spartans at Victor Tedesco Stadium, (kick-off 6pm).

Meanwhile, Msida have also announced that they had no reached an agreement with San Gwann FC player Luke Vella Critien and this after the player had started pre-season training with the club from day one. Last week the two clubs, San Gwann FC and Msida agreed on a one-year loan. But unfortunately when Vella Critien met the management board later last week, the management could not accept certain conditions put forward by the player, and consequently the deal fell through.
