League leaders Neptunes Vodafone should remain firmly on top of the standings at the weekend.

Today, they should garner all the points from their match against neighbours San Giljan Zara, while tomorrow, their challengers, Sliema Burger King and 2X Sirens face off in a crucial match for both.

At such a crucial moment in the competition, when three matches remain to be played, it is obvious that neither side can afford to miss points. So one must expect a veritable battle between Sliema and Sirens tomorrow.

Neptunes also have to make sure to get the points from today's match as the remaining programme sees them facing Sirens first and then Sliema. Sirens' other opponents will be San Giljan, while Sliema's remaining opponents will be San Giljan and Neptunes - the final match of the league which could turn out to be decisive.
