Fgura United Football Club would like to announce that the annual Fgura United Football Club Pre-Season Tournament is going to be organised between the 16th and 29th August. Eight teams will participate in this prestigious tournament that is recognised by the Malta Football Association. The clubs participating include first division sides Vittoriosa Stars and Tarxien Rainbows, second division sides Gudja United FC and Birzebbuga St Peter’s and third division sides Fgura United FC, Xghajra Tornadoes, Gzira United FC and Zurrieq FC.

All matches will be played at the Kordin Hockey Ground, Paola starting on the 16th August till the 29th August 2006, with the following programme:

16-8-06 6pm Birzebbuga St Peters vs Fgura United FC; 8.00pm - Xghajra Tornadoes vs Gzira United FC

18-8-06 6.00pm Zurrieq FC vs Tarxien Rainbows; 8.00pm - Vittoriosa Stars vs Gudja United FC

21-8-06 6.00pm - Xghajra Tornadoes vs Vittoriosa Stars 8.00pm - Birzebbuga St Peters vs Zurrieq FC

22-8-06 6.00pm - Gzira United FC vs Gudja United FC; 8.00pm - Fgura United FC vs Tarxien Rainbows

24-8.06 6.00pm - Birzebbuga St Peters vs Tarxien Rainbows; 8.00pm - Xghajra Tornadoes vs Gudja United FC

25.08.06 6.00pm - Fgura United FC vs Zurrieq FC 8.00pm - Gzira United FC vs Vittoriosa Stars

The final match will be played on the 29th August 2006 kick off 7.30 pm
