Although not as superior as the day before, the Maltese team again showed its predominance on the third day of the friendly against Austria yesterday.

The U17 team clearly prevailed winning 2-7 frames. The U13 players won some of their games just with the black, nevertheless the final score was 3-6 in favour of the Maltese team.

After four sessions Malta U/17 team lead by 29-7 while the U/13 were 26-10 in front. The day’s highest break for the U/17 belonged to Thorsten Grixti while U/13 player Jonathan Attard pocketed a break of 22 points.

In the evening the Austrian Snooker and Billiard Association invited all players and officials for an official dinner where coaches and organizers made use of the opportunity for an intensive exchange of ideas regarding the training of the snooker and billiard youth.
