Young and talented shooter Clive Farrugia managed to win the Aquilina Shield, yesterday in the Skeet competition organised by the Malta Shooting Federation at Bidnija.

This was the fourth trophy win for the Rabat young shooter this season.

Silvio Attard, who finished second, offered Farrugia a stern challenge and was leading 39 -38 after the first shoot over 50 clays. But Farrugia recovered well, hitting 22 out of the next 25 clays for a total of 60 clays,one more than Attard.

Third place went to Paul Sant (58 clays), beating Max Fenech after a shoot-off.

Charlie Agius was fifth (56 clays) and Joe Muscat sixth(54 clays).
