A 16-year-old girl was reported yesterday as being in a critical condition after having been found lying in the street outside a Paceville establishment, the police said yesterday.

In its report, the police said that it had been informed that the girl, who is from Marsaxlokk, had been taken to St Luke’s Hospital by ambulance, and was found to be in critical condition.

The police did not say what had led to the incident.

Magistrate Dr Jacqueline Padovani appointed several experts to help her draw up a report. The police are investigating.
