Air Malta plc and the Malta Federation of Industry (FOI) have signed a new three-year collaboration agreement. The agreement was signed by Joe Cappello, Air Malta chief executive officer, Adrian Bajada, FOI president and Wilfred Kenely, FOI director general at the Air Malta offices last Wednesday, in the presence of Brian Bartolo, Air Malta general manager, marketing and product, and Cecilia Vella, FOI Executive.
Speaking during the signing of the agreement, Mr Cappello said that Air Malta is very proud to be an FOI sponsoring partner. Air Malta, as one of the major organisations in Malta, is keen to support one of the most important constituted bodies in our country. Mr Cappello added, “along with our commitment to continue guaranteeing a number of strategic services, we also see a lot of scope to back initiatives, which promote Malta-based industry’s interests. We are supporting this partnership through our Committed to Our Community initiative. This initiative aims to support and encourage local organisations and activities in various sectors be they cultural, social, philanthropic, environmental, heritage and sport, that help the Maltese community in some way or another.”
Thanking Air Malta for its renewed confidence in the federation, Mr Bajada said that through this agreement, Air Malta would not only be supporting the federation and its activities to be held throughout the year, but would also give more value to FOI members, particularly those who participate in FOI delegations and events abroad.
