Frans Pace is the winner of the Josies Trap Grand Prix held at the Qormi Shooting Club ranges this weekend with a total of 131 points, ahead of runners-up Brian Galea (127) and Joe Attard.

In the veterans’ section Joe Cutajar emerged as winner while Ryan Bugeja won the Juniors’ section.

Meanwhile yesterday, the Shooting Federation organised a team and individual straight event at Bidnija.

Shooter J. Micallef from San Gwann was the individual winner of Lm100 cash prize besides a medal. R. Magro of Naxxar was second and D. Muscat was third.

Attard won the team event trophy hitting 193 clays out of 200. Second were Naxxar and Ta Furtu finished third.
