Based on the concept of social speed dating, Business Networking is becoming more and more popular across the globe. Established business people, young entrepreneurs, and aspiring young managers get together to explore each other’s potential for new and profitable business opportunities. Junior Chamber International (JCI) is bringing its international expertise in Business Networking Events to Malta and holding what is probably the first of its kind on the island.
All young and aspiring entrepreneurs are invited to attend and establish new relationships with potential business partners. Supporting the event are a number of young and established entrepreneurs acting as patrons, whereby they will be sharing their experience with other participants. Chris Grech (Dhalia Real estate services), Joe Fenech Conti (CEO datatrak, Director Air Malta and Chairman, Public Broadcasting Services), Juanita Bencini (Partner, KPMG Malta), amongst others, will be sharing not only their experience in networking and entrepreneurship but will also join the rest of the participants during the networking sessions.
Unlike traditional business networking events where people might be held up in long, non-profitable, chats with the same group of people – JCI Business Networking Events ensure you get the maximum out of the activity.
JCI Business Networking Events aim to achieve maximum effectiveness for all participants by ensuring a structured approach to meeting other participants. Each person will be allowed up to five minutes to develop an initial contact with another participant, with everyone moving on to his/her next potential business partner at the end of the five minutes. Following this business-oriented “musical-chairs” a reception will be held where participants will be able to delve deeper in the new relationships established.
The event will be held on Thursday 5 October, starting at around 7pm. Anyone aged between 18 and 40, working within an entrepreneurial environment or seeking to develop his/her own personal business idea is encouraged to attend. Booking or further details are available by calling JCI Malta on 7946-8060 or email on [email protected]
