Arsenal fans from Malta can feature their best self-portraits photographs on www.arsenals12thman.com
Emirates Airline has kicked off the football season at the fabulous new Emirates Stadium with an initiative to help showcase and celebrate the spirit, loyalty and passion of Arsenal fans from all walks of life.
The Dubai-based international airline is asking Arsenal supporters, including those from Malta, to e-mail photographs of themselves living and breathing the lifestyle of a true “Gunner”, in and around the state-of-the-art Emirates Stadium. These images will be hosted on Arsenal’s brand new website – www.arsenals12thman.com
Three times during the season, the best and most interesting photographs from the website will be selected to go onto four huge poster sites throughout the stadium. The fans whose pictures make it on to the posters will also receive a prize. This opportunity is open to Arsenal fans all around the world, as long as the photograph submitted depicts themselves in the Emirates Stadium.
The site will also feature other promotions and competitions specifically created for Arsenal fans.
Emirates and Arsenal Football Club has signed the biggest club sponsorship in English football history, worth some £100 million. Beginning this season (2006-07), the airline is taking over as the club’s sponsor, including a sponsorship of the Fly Emirates shirt, for eight years. The airline also has naming rights to the club’s newly inaugurated £357 million Emirates Stadium for the next 15 years.
