The new season for Hibernians Basketball Nursery got underway yesterday at the Kordin Sports Pavilion.

As in the past years youngsters will be divided in age roups starting with the 6-10 years, 11 to 12 and under-15.

The 6-10 year group will have their training session on Saturdays between 9am and 10.30am, whilst the 11-12 year group will have their session also on Saturdays between 10.45am and 12.15pm.

The under-15 group will have two training sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays between 6pm and 7.30pm.

All training sessions will be held at the Kordin Sports Pavilion.

The coaching sessions are under the technical guidance of the Head Coach, Anthony Cassar, an ex-Malta international, assisted by his brother Silvio, the national team captain.

As part of the opening programme, a Holy Mass will be celebrated today 1 October at 9.30am at the same venue.
