A record number of models of varying ages are this year participating in the popular Gwida Models of the Year 2006/07 being held at the Bay Complex Street today at 7.30pm.

All 90 contestants between the age of one and 45 will be present during the Bay Street activity. The jury will be basing their vote not on beauty but, where young child-models are concerned, on their self-confidence and charisma, while male, female and married models will be judged according to their appearance and modelling talents.

Gwida Models of the Year 2006/07, which is being organised by Gaffiero Productions, will be presented by Thea Saliba under the direction of Ivan Gaffiero. This show will also feature a number of well-known local artistes.
