The Malta Under 19 team will be engaged in the qualifying round of the 2006/2007 European Under-19 Championship mini-tournament which is being held in Denmark between 15 and 20 October, 2006.

The Maltese, under the guidance of coach Edwin Camilleri, are in a four-team group which also comprises hosts, Denmark, France and Finland.

These three nations will certainly be tough customers, all having a higher pedigree than Malta. Nevertheless, our side will try and perform to the best of their capabilities.

Malta will be playing against Denmark next Monday and then face France on Wednesday with Finland being the last opponents on 20 October.

All matches kick-off at 2pm local time.
