Tourism Minister Francis Zammit Dimech yesterday toured various sites that are included in the programme of activities for “Notte bianca – Lejl Imdawwal”, to be held in Valletta tonight.

Dr Zammit Dimech said that the whole concept arose when he spoke of his wish to see such an activity take place while he was speaking to the Executive Director of the Malta Council for Arts and Culture.

He said that he wanted to see Malta have similar nights to those organized in Rome, Paris and other European cities. He said that through hard work and commitment, the Notte Bianca activity should become part of the calendar and should help to revitalize Valletta.
