This will be a week of television baptism of fire for archbishop-elect Paul Cremona.

He will give his very first interview tomorrow evening to Brian Hansford in Realta on Smash TV at 8.30pm.

Mr Hansford has promised that this will be a live transmission, with all kinds of questions asked of the archbishop-elect.

Then on Tuesday, despite claims of “exclusivity” made all through Xarabank on Friday, Fr Cremona will be the sole guest on Lou Bondi’s Bondiplus at 8.30pm.

Yesterday he met the church’s pastoral council. He will meet all the lay members of lay organisations in the diocese and the parishes on 15 February at the MUSEUM headquarters in Blata l-Bajda and as from February, the Curia announced yesterday, Fr Cremona will start meeting lay people engaged in pastoral activities in the 16 pastoral units of the diocese of Malta.
