A 36-year-old man from Qormi has been accused of attempted grievous bodily harm.
Charles Yuri Agius was accused of attempted grievous bodily harm by driving a van in the direction of Police Sergeant Carmel Zammit, who was directing traffic in Qormi at around 11am on 27 February 2005.
Mr Agius was also charged with disobeying police orders and breaching the peace.
Police Inspector Raymond D’Anastas prosecuted and Dr Franco Debono appeared for Mr Agius.
