Malta Independent Sunday, 24 December 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

The oldest vehicle in Malta will be on display alongside the most exotic cars on the islands on Saturday to collect funds for the Community Chest Fund. The event, which promises to be the largest show of cars, trucks and motorcycles ever held in Malta, will be held during this year’s Istrina.

The motor show is being organised by Paqpaq motoring show producer and presenter Tonio Darmanin and his team on the programme.

So far, 16 clubs representing a wide variety of vehicles have confirmed their participation, featuring classic vehicles, off-road 4x4s, military vehicles, American roadsters, trucks and racing bikes.

These will be complemented by a selection comprised of Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche, Rolls Royce and Bentley.

The show will be held in the car park right next to the Malta Convention Centre (tent) where the Istrina fund raising event will be held and will start at 10am.
