Arani issa!, Dr Joseph Chetcuti’s television series in collaboration with Transforma on Mondays at 8.30pm on TVM will be starting off the New Year with a special edition on New Year’s Day, rounding up the recent 12 programmes of the series before going on to new protagonists. The programme offers a new twist to the old makeover story. From 300 applicants, 26 have been
chosen to have not just their hair and make-up done, but also their entire body.
Selected individuals for this show have experienced, and will continue to experience, the wide scope of extreme makeover possibilities through which their sense of self-appreciation is restored, as well as their confidence. What makes this show extreme is that applicants are not just undergoing conventional makeover staples such as new clothes, make-up and hair. Rather, those taking part in Arani issa! benefit from an array of experts working together as a team.
This team is composed of leading cosmetic surgeons, cosmetic dentists, stylists, nutritionists, trainers and fashion experts. They guide and educate the participant through each stage of the makeover process, a major part of which is cosmetic surgery. .
Participants on Arani issa! undergo breast reduction/augmentation, liposuction and liposculpture, nose jobs, teeth whitening and straightening, laser eye surgery, face lifts, eye lifts, lip enhancements – the list just goes on – sometimes with multiple plastic surgery procedures carried out at the same time. Arani issa! highlights the dramatic changes possible through plastic surgery, thus helping people regain their self-esteem and achieve their own personal dream.
