The shooting of the controversial film, Eichmann, is due to start today in Valletta.

Filming is expected to concentrate from near the Victoria Gate to the Lower Barrakka and is expected to begin around noon and end around midnight.

Curiously, parts of Munich were shot near the British Hotel in the same area.

Shooting is expected to continue in Valletta until Thursday, but will also take place in Mosta (near the Mosta Bridge) and in Attard (Lord Strickland Street) tomorrow, and in Hamrun (Joseph Abela Scolaro Street) from Thursday to Saturday.
