Sedqa, in collaboration with NSTS and with the support of XFM, are once again organising a teen central alcohol-free event for young people aged 13 to 16. The event will be held on Friday 9 February at Rafiki’s Café (Outside of University Gates) between 7.30pm and 11pm.
Also, young people who would like further information or are interested in performing during one of these activities – singing or dancing – can call Primary Prevention on 2124-4226.
This series of events is being held on every second Friday of the month, and the aim is to offer opportunities for young people who would like to have fun in a clean environment.
Entrance for these celebrations is free, and includes a subscription-offer for the ISIC (International Student Identity Card), which is being sold at 50 per cent discount (Lm1.50 only). This card entitles the holder to benefit from discounts in Malta and abroad.
Sedqa and the Dingli School Council are also organising a Carnival gathering for young people between 11 and 16 years of age. Spot prizes, finger food, non-alcoholic drinks and talent shows will be organised. The entrance fee is Lm1.50 and bookings should be made with the Dingli school or members of the Dingli School Council on 9949-0261 or 9985-5894 by Monday 12 February.
This fun activity is not limited only to Dingli residents but all young people are encouraged to attend. The event will take place at the Dingli primary school hall between 7.30pm and 11pm.
