Atlas Insurance PCC and Atlas Healthcare Insurance Agency, agents for AXA PPP healthcare, have announced their participation in the FAIR initiative that seeks to ensure fairness and transparency in the pricing of services during the changeover to the new currency.

In a statement, Atlas underlined its commitment to safeguarding consumers as one of the main aspects of its Customer Care Charter.

All the insurance systems are now fully compliant with the dual display requirements established by the initiative, following the development and implementation of new systems in 2006.

The dual display notice period entails the simultaneous display of an amount in both the Maltese lira and euro and aims to ensure a smooth changeover from one currency to the other. The company is also training its staff in view of the euro changeover scheduled for January 2008.
