Bank of Valletta has opened a new banking service point at the recently inaugurated Pavi Supermarket in Qormi. The BOV office, which is centrally located as one enters the Pavi supermarket, is equipped with an automated teller machine and a banking terminal from which one can access the BOV website as well as BOV Internet Banking services.
“The BOV service point at Pavi is open 24 hours a day and is already proving to be very popular with our customers,” said Alan Cassar, executive head responsible for sales and product development at Bank of Valletta. “By opening a new service point within Pavi, we wanted to bring our services closer to the customer, at a location that is regularly visited for shopping,” he added.
Alan Cassar said that through its Pavi office, Bank of Valletta was seeking to promote card usage as a straightforward and efficient payment mechanism. “More and more people are today paying directly with their cards and taking advantage of the benefits these offer,” said Mr Cassar. BOV Cards offer the customer a number of added value benefits including the purchase protection insurance that is available on certain cards, an interest free credit period that is available on credit cards and the possibility to benefit from a number of promotions that are regularly made available to cardholders.
“An innovative feature of the new BOV service point at Pavi is the banking terminal that gives the opportunity to customers to conduct their banking through the BOV Internet Banking channel on a 24 hour basis,” said Mr Cassar. “We have also put in place a BOV automated teller machine for the added convenience of our customers,” concluded Mr Cassar. Bank of Valletta ATMs offer a wide range of banking services including deposits, transfer of funds between accounts, mini statements and the recently launched mobile phone top-up services amongst others.
