Marsovin Winery is enhancing its professional team with the appointment of wine specialist Aaron Rizzo.
This post will see Mr Rizzo communicating with hotel and restaurant staff and with other people in the wine trade about the philosophy of Marsovin, its commitment to quality and to the culture of wine. It will be Aaron’s responsibility to convey information about viticultural and vinification methods used to produce Marsovin’s wide range of wines. Aaron will also be imparting his wine knowledge and service technical skills to staff in the hotel and catering sector.
Aaron Rizzo, who holds a BSc in Applied Science in Hospitality Administration, was educated at the Institute of Tourism Studies in Malta, and furthered his studies at the New Hampshire College, in the United States. Mr Rizzo has vast working experience ranging from working in the management of 5 star hotels to lecturing in food and beverage service management and wines, both in Malta and in the UK.
Aaron Rizzo holds a Diploma from the Wines and Spirits Education Trust and is also an Associate of the Institute of Wines and Spirits (AIWS), UK. During his varied career he has acted as judge in cooking, service, cocktail and international wine competitions.
