HSBC has launched a new Euro Adoption Information webpage on its internet site.
The new webpage may be reached by simply accessing the URL http://hsbc.com.mt/euroinfo. One may also click on the Euroinfo webpage icon from HSBC’s homepage, for instant access.
The webpage contains a quick euro conversion calculator. Browsers will also find the latest bank news related to the euro and information about HSBC’s euro products. It also carries very useful information compiled by HSBC, frequently asked questions about the conversion process, and links to related websites. The site will be continuously updated with relevant news and information in relation to the euro, right up to when Malta adopts the euro as its national currency.
“As a member of the largest European banking group, HSBC Malta is preparing for the Euro changeover for the benefit of its customers drawing upon the group’s existing experience of the euro, to ensure the changeover will be as smooth as possible,” said HSBC Bank Malta plc’s chief executive officer, Shaun Wallis. “This new information-packed webpage is another HSBC initiative as Malta’s euro bank to give added value to the public,” he added.
More information on issues related to the euro can be obtained by calling HSBC’s euro helpline on 2380-8154.
