The Malta Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises (GRTU) and GlobalCapital have signed an agreement under which GlobalCapital has been appointed as Preferred Financial Services Partner to the GRTU and its members.
Through the agreement, GlobalCapital will be supporting the GRTU and its members through various initiatives and activities it holds for members throughout the year aimed at providing information about topics of interest to retailers.
GRTU director general Vincent Farrugia said: “This is an excellent agreement as it extends the professional services of a market leader like GlobalCapital to GRTU members at favourable rates and provides members with an opportunity to have specifically designed financial products to meet their particular needs, as identified by GRTU.”
He continued: “Furthermore GRTU members will be offered the opportunity, through a new service that will be offered from GRTU Headquarters in Republic Street, Valletta, to learn more about the investment opportunities offered by GlobalCapital. The GRTU, as an organisation, will benefit from the financial arrangement reached with GlobalCapital to further extend the services and representations the GRTU offers to the business community.”
Mr Farrugia said the agreement signified a breakthrough for the GRTU, as it previously steered away from similar agreements. The new agreement provided the GRTU with an enhancement of its capabilities without in any way restricting the freedom of action the GRTU has so jealously maintained since its inception.
GlobalCapital CEO Nicholas Portelli said: “We are indeed pleased to associate our name with a leading organisation in Malta who over the years have made such significant contribution to the local business community. This agreement also confirms that GlobalCapital has now established itself as one of the leading Maltese brands in financial services.”
He said the company operated in the fields of investments, insurance and property and planned to offer knowledge and experience to the members of the GRTU.
